The last day of the work week and I am ready for a weekend. I have for you another birthday card and a reminder. The Great Impressions Blog started a new challenge this past Sunday. We are excited for the month of May. Mother's Day is coming up in a couple of days. It's a month for women and so our challenge is "Feminine". All of my cards this month for Great Impressions have flowers in them. Nothing more feminine right!
Today's card features "Watercolor Flowers" (H255) and "Swirly Happy Birthday" (E367). This is a simple card this time. I thought since this is called Watercolor Flowers I should do a watercolor. First I stamped the image with Versamark and used some fine embossing powder. Then I took some Distress Inks and stamped them on my work matt. A spritz of water and you're ready to go. After they were dry I cut them out. I took a plane white paper and stamped the images again then used another DI and colored the paper. Finally I glued the images down on the paper where I stamped the images. Some butterfly brads and a Swirly Happy Birthday stamp and all that's left is to put it on a base card and you're done. Easy peasy!
