LET'S DANCE!

Aren't these ladies just adorable!  I'm sharing a card today featuring Vera and Mable Doing the Charleston (J122) from Great Impressions.   I saw this and thought of my sister and I.  Both of us have bad backs so this probably would never happen but you never know.

I have colored them with Copic markers then added some Stickles and Liquid Pearls.  I also thought since they are supposed to be "old ladies" I would use an embossing folder with quilting on it and add some ribbon.  I wanted the background to be sheet music but none of the music I found seemed right.  Then I thought why not see if I could find the sheet music for the Charleston.  I found it!  So the music behind them is the music they are dancing to.  The notes are metal that I dipped into black paint.  Finally, I have added the sentiment Dance (E857).

I hope you enjoyed this and don't forget to join in the April Challenge of "April Showers Bring May Flowers".  Hope to see you there!

Thanks for your visit and have a blessed day!

Wonderful creation. Thank you for blessing us with your artwork here at Word Art Wednesday. We are starting another Challenge today and I hope you join us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word found in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 which tells us, "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love." Have an awesome week.
