BARE NECESSITIES

Here I am again with another fabulous challenge at Love To Scrap Challenge Blog.  Our challenge is very simple this time around.  We are asking that you use only the "Bare Necessities" on your project.  All you have to do is limit your embellishing to two or less.  Simple right?!  Our sponsor is Karleigh Sue Designs.  I was given this cute image called "Let Me Perk You Up".

I don't generally use a lot of embellishing but I do use them so this was giving me some difficulty.  I wanted to make it not plain but also not embellished.  Finally I received some inspiration from one of the blogs I follow and decided to use my Color Burst.  I just love this stuff.  I combined the blue and yellow to bring some green into it also.  Then I ran it through my Big Kick with an embossing folder I got for Christmas.  This is the first time I've used this one.  It's called Henna.  I love the design.  After that I distressed everything.  So now, even though it is not embellished, it's not plain either.

I hope you like this and can get inspired by it.  Please pop over to LTSCB and check out all the other wonderful projects the DT have made for you.  I hope you join in this fortnight.

Have a fantastic day!
