A PENGUIN CHRISTMAS

Welcome to another great challenge at CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN.  The challenge this fortnight is "Buttons Galore" and we are sponsored by A RANDOM FAN.

I couldn't quite commit to one card so I made two.  The first has the buttons and the second with pearls.  For the sketch I switched the flowers on the first.  I usually don't use buttons but I have tons of them.  It's something I should use more often.  I didn't even realize I had these cute Christmas buttons just stashed away and not being used.

When I was a kid, each year when we put up the tree we had gold garland so I thought I would try to recreate it.  I think I did pretty good.  It really reminds me of the garland we used.

I really like both of these.  It just reminds me of my mom's tree.

I hope you will join us in the challenge and don't forget to pop over to the CWWC blog and check out all the fabulous creations made by the DT.

Thanks for visiting and have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

When a project or card reminds you of a special time from the past, it really is special. I can see why your cards do that for you. Lots of little reminders of childhood. Thanks for joining in the Mod Squad Challenge this week. Hope to see you here again.
