CHRISTMAS CAROLING

WOW!  My last post was four weeks ago.  I have had quite a month.  Since I moved from Georgia to Ohio I have had my belongings in a storage shed.  I have finally come to the realization that I needed to get rid of it.  I decided to have a garage sale.  I had movers pick up my stuff (which was in a 10' x 20' shed) on Thursday and had my garage sale on Friday and Saturday.  I really did not remember what all I had and had to sort through everything.

The movers got to me about five hours late and so I didn't get started on the organization until almost dinner time for the kids.  I don't know about you but I am really dead by about 8:00.  I managed to go until 11:00 but still had so much to do.  The sale started at 9:00 am.  By the time I was done I thought I could just sleep for a week.  I then had to organize what was left from the sale and get ready for Goodwill to pick up what I was donating.  I worked myself silly along with my sister and my sister-in-law.  Without their help I know I could not have managed.  I'm so thankful for these beautiful women to do this for me.

After that was finished I guess my body just said stop and I got sick.  I stayed in bed almost a whole week.  I was so miserable.  I usually see my sister at least once a week and I haven't seen her since the sale.  I'm not quite all the way better yet so her husband won't let me over to their house.  I can't blame him though.  Becky gets really sick from just a cold and she would be on her back for at least two weeks.  I didn't want her sick either so I have stayed away.  Hopefully I will get to go over to her house next weekend.

So now I'm back with another fabulous challenge brought to you by

Hi, Robin! I am so proud of you for having sold all those "things" we don't quite know what to do with, and for letting a charity have the rest. It's a great feeling and like a weight off the shoulders to have that done, and to be "lighter" from "stuff" pulling us down. I've done that 3 times this year and each time, I am not sorry I've done it. I just feel happier not having those THINGS. How envious I am that you have a sister and SIL to help with such things. What a blessing for each one of you.

I'm sorry you became ill. Sometimes that happens. Thank you for visiting my blog so that I could return the favor. SO GLAD YOU DID because I've enjoyed seeing your pretty artwork and have become your newest google follower.

Your little Christmas Caroling Sweetie is adorable! I especially LOVE how you have combined the beautiful bold blue with the browns and pale pink color. Looks amazing! Great take on the sketch, too!

Hope you are soon feeling back to normal! hugs, de {Creative Smiles}
