HAPPY EASTER

Hello all!  I have been doing a sibling challenge as of late.  My sisters and I have been challenging each other to do certain kinds of cards.  This is the first one I am posting though it is the second of the challenges.  This challenge comes from my youngest sister Rhonda.  She asked us to make a card focusing on the sentiment alone.

I decided to make an Easter card for the ladies I visit at my church.  We have a program where we go out each month and visit the ladies we are assigned to bring them a lesson and also get to know them better.  Hopefully, you spring up wonderful friendships along the way.  I do love the women I have visited over the years and some have become my dearest friends.  If you would like to know more about it you can go here for information.  There are some beautiful Easter messages there also.

At Easter time we remember the sacrifice that Christ has made for us.  We remember that he rose from the dead and made it possible for us to return to Heaven to be with Him and our Heavenly Father.  I do hope that you will take the time to welcome Him into your life and accept the gift He so freely offered to each of us.

These are the items used to make the card.  Fortunately I was able to use everything I already had.  Other than the embossing folder, I have had all of these items for a long time:

 Sentiment - Digi Doodle Shop
Papers - Core' dinations
Ribbon - Trim Line
Pearls - Want 2 Scrap
Charm - Stash
 Punch - Martha Stewart
Die cut - Spellbinders
Embossing folder - Darice

 Challenges entered:

Created with Love #79 - Easter
Loves Rubberstamps #99 - Easter or Spring
