I received this image from Lemon Shortbread. She is called "Heart of Roses". When I saw the image I knew I had to do a shaker card. I had the perfect little hearts to go inside it too. I have had these so long I don't even know where I got them.
After I colored her and fussy cut the image, I decided the card needed to be CAS. I have never left this much white space on a card before and it is only one layer. I took the picture on a red background and it kind of looks like the card is red but it's entirely a white card.
I am a nanny for some kids on a job I took recently. There are five kids but only three young ones. The two younger girls are 11 and 9. They like crafts too so I showed them the card and they just begged me to make a card with them too. Since I'm only there for about three hours a day it has taken quite a while for them to finish their cards. They are just about done. I was hoping to add their cards to this post but we have one more day of crafting to finish them. I will put their cards up when they are done.
I hope you will join us in the challenge this fortnight and don't forget to stop by the DT and give them some love.
It's a lovely Valentines card Robin and love the idea of making it into a shaker card, than's for the inspiration as I now have the desire to make one as well.
