CWWC BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP

Welcome to another fabulous fortnight with

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

We have some exciting things happening!  You should have gotten here from Poppet's blog.  If you are just starting the hop just pop back to the CWWC blog and start from the beginning.

We are having a "Birthday Bash Blog Hop"!  It's our 5th birthday.  To help us celebrate we have lots of sponsors and prizes for you to win.  Sound like fun?  Well here we go.

In case you get lost, here is the hop order:

CWWC Blog
Ang
Jo
Lynda
Nancy
Poppet
Robin - You are here
Valou
Vickie
CWWC Blog - You must comment here to say you have hopped through everyone

My first card is sponsored by Art by Miran

The image I received is called "Florence".  I love the flowing hair.

 Card Recipe:

Image - Florence
Coloring mediums - Copic & Whisper Strokes markers, Glastique, Wink of Stella
Paper - Webster Pages Best Friends, World Win & generic
Die - Frantic Stamper
Butterfly - Inky Impressions
Ribbon - Offray

Next up is Ppinky Dolls

Here is my card

This image is "Gigi with Bird".  When I saw the image I had a strong feeling she needed to be surrounded by mixed media.  So my card is full of different inks and textures.  I also used a technique I learned from Tim Holtz.  I used paste and while still wet I added embossing powder.  After the paste dried I used my heat gun.  If you try this be sure to wait till the paste has dried.  If you don't you probably will not like the result.

Card Recipe:

Image - Gigi with Bird
Coloring mediums - Copic & Whisper Strokes markers, Glastique, Wink of Stella
Background - Color Burst by Ken Oliver, Bister
Stencil - Sweet Stamps Stained Glass
Paste - Ranger Texture Paste
Embossing powder - Stampendous Aged Gold
Stamp - Prima Finnabair Bubbles
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Ribbon and lace came from a candy win.  The lace was stained with Memento
Die - Sizzix
Paper - Canson & generic
Bird - Craft Fantastic

My next sponsored image comes from Inky Impressions

The image is "Angelica's Dreamcatcher".  My daughter has a dream catcher too.  The concept alone kept bad dreams away.

Card Recipe:

Image - Angelica's Dreamcatcher
Coloring mediums - Copic and Whisper Strokes markers, Glastique, Stickles
Sketch - Papertake Weekly
Ticket punch - EK Success
Paper - DCWV Pocket full of Posies, DCWV Fall & Halloween Combo Matstack, World Win & generic
Pearls - Queen & Co.
Embossing folder - Darice
Ribbon - Darice (the ribbon is actually purple but is showing up more blue) and Morex
Sentiment - Create with TLC

The last card I have for you is sponsored by Drawn with Character

The image I received for this one is "Princess and the Frog"

I picked this image out with a beautiful little girl in mind.  My niece just moved to Ohio with her husband and a gorgeous little girl.  She is so sweet and cute.  What a joy to be around.  Her birthday is coming up in a couple months but I made her a card early.

She always has a big bow in her hair.  One day her head might catch up as she has been wearing them since birth.  Doesn't she just exude cuteness!!

Card Recipe:

Image - Princess and the Frog
Coloring mediums - Copic markers, Prismacolor metallic gold, Stickles, Glastique & Wink of Stella
Pearls - Want 2 Scrap
Ribbon - Crafty Ribbons
Paper - Bazzill, DCWV Pocket full of Posies, Core 'dinations & generic
Die - Our Daily Bread
Ticket punch - EK Success
Sentiment - Stampendous

I hope you have enjoyed your visit with me today. Please join us in the challenge for a chance to win some wonderful prizes and don't forget to leave a comment for extra prizes!

Have a wonderfully, fantastic day!

She DOES indeed exude cuteness and that same cuteness is absolutely reflected in your adorable card! I love how you went with a princess theme and it is so elegant with the floral background and die-cut doily. The expression on the princess is so perfect and I love how and her frog are colored. You did an amazing job and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
