This challenge is "Personalize It" by adding a name to your project.  I chose to do a card for my niece's birthday.  She will be 15 on May 3.  I chose Evanora Sassy, one of the wicked witches in the new Oz movie.  Kennedie definitely has that side to her but she can also be very sweet.  I colored her with Copic and Whisper Stroke markers then added some Glossy Accents to her hair and gems.  The sketch I used comes from 2 Sisters Challenge Blog.

The papers all came from my Stash 'O Scraps - Bazzill, October Afternoon and the rest I have no clue.  The charm was loose in my basket of embellies so I'm not sure where I got it either.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I did my own sentiment and cut it with a die from Spellbinders. 

I'm so sorry this is late.  I have been very sick for quite a few days.  My niece Cara just can't learn to cover a cough.  I get sick so easily I just knew this was coming.  I hope Kennedie likes the card.  I really can't make a good judgement right now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINNY

There is a dear sweet lady at our church that is about to turn 83 years old.  Wow that's a nice long life.  I wanted to send her a card for her birthday and to make it clean and simple.  

I have no experience with CAS cards.  I had seen some techniques that I thought I would give a try also.  Anyway, the stamp is from Our Daily Bread and was colored with Whisper Stroke markers and then stamped onto the card.  The butterfly was then colored using a baby wipe technique with Stampin' Up inks. The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous.

I hope she enjoys this!

A LITTLE MERMAID BIRTHDAY

Welcome to a new challenge at CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN!

This is a bitter sweet card for me.  I have just stepped down from SSD due to some health issues.  I just love them so much over there.  So many sweet and wonderful women and so much talent!  Lindsey is such an amazing artist.  I so love her images.

Today's challenge is "At the movies".  I chose the Little Mermaid Honey.  I've seen this movie so many times I practically learned all the songs.  My daughter Alicia had me watching it when she was little....she stands 5' 10" now.  Passed me up a long time ago.  I colored her with Copic and Whisper Stroke markers.  I've added some Stickles to sparkle her up and dimensionals to pop her up.  

I've used papers from Bazzill, some generic and some from my stash that I have no idea where it came from.  The sentiment is Stampendous, pearls are from Inky Impressions, the sentiment stamp is Stampendous, the sea horse is from Blue Moon, the starfish from a candy I won from Kim at SSD and the distress ink from Tim Holtz.  The ribbon, like the paper, I have no idea where it's from.
