There is a dear sweet lady at our church that is about to turn 83 years old.  Wow that's a nice long life.  I wanted to send her a card for her birthday and to make it clean and simple.

I have no experience with CAS cards.  I had seen some techniques that I thought I would give a try also.  Anyway, the stamp is from Our Daily Bread and was colored with Whisper Stroke markers and then stamped onto the card.  The butterfly was then colored using a baby wipe technique with Stampin' Up inks. The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous.

I hope she enjoys this!

I have entered into the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps #54 - Birthday
Challenges 4 Everybody #18 - Anything goes
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Use a coloring medium
The Paper Nest #2 - Happy, happy birthday
Inky Chicks #2 - Happy birthday girl
Simon Says Stamp - Anything goes
Crafty Emblies - Anything goes
Oak Pond Creations - Birthday bash
The Cutie Pie #42 - Clean and simple
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything goes

Thanks so much for visiting me and have a beautiful day!

Robin this is such a beautiful card! Lovely, clean and simple. I looked for an e-mail address to contact you about the Oak Pond Creations Birthday Bash Challenge. In order to enter an Oak Pond Digital Stamp must be used. There's still time to enter if you make a card with an OPC image. Hugs and happy crafting. -Kim
