CHRISTMAS PENGUINS

Welcome to another fortnight challenge at

Our sponsor is A Random Fan

Our challenge is to keep it "Clean and Simple CAS".  This is not an easy one for me.  I do not generally use a lot of embellishments but I do like a few.  When doing a CAS card I always want to add more.  I do like the fact that the embossing folder design is clearly easy to see.

This image is called "Christmas Decor".  Aren't they just so CUTE!  I love penguins.  I wanted to use a bunch of different colors instead of the regular ones.  I love the way penguins look but bright colors make them more fun for me.  The garland is covered in Wink of Stella to make it sparkle but the picture is just not showing the sparkle.

I hope you like it and will join us in the challenge.  Please stop by the CWWC blog and visit all the DT blogs and don't forget to leave some love.

Recipe

Coloring mediums - Copic & Whisper Strokes markers
Sentiment -  Desert Diva
Papers - My Mind's Eye, A Paper Co., generic
Embossing folder - Darice Snowflake Swirls
Misc - Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Pop dots, Liquid Applique

SOCK HOP BIRTHDAY

Welcome to a new challenge at

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

This fortnight we are being sponsored by Lindsey at
Sassy Studio Designs

Our challenge is to "Use Your Markers".  This is an easy one for me since I'm always using my Copics.  I just love them.  I'm always wishing to have more.  One day I will have the whole set and be so very happy.

I have a tip for you on this one.  As I did my fussy cut, I noticed her neck was very weak.  I didn't want it to break so I glued another piece of paper onto her in the back so she could have the support she needed.

This is my second post for today.  I have been asked to make two cards for my friend's grandmother.  The first was a sympathy card and this is a get well card.  I sent her a text and she loves both of them.  I'm so happy she loves the cards I make.

WITH SYMPATHY

Hi everyone!  This is so exciting.....my first card that was requested.  I have a friend whose grandmother likes my cards.  She has bought several of the cards I have made and has requested me to make two cards.  The first is this sympathy card.

I wanted to make it very simple and sweet.  I had ordered this set from Stampin' Up a while ago and have been meaning to make some cards with it.  This gave me the opportunity to use it.  I texted a picture to her and she loves it.  I'm so happy!

I hope you like it too.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I would love to see your comments on my card too.  My next post will have the second card.
