PRAY FOR KATLYNN

There is a very beautiful young girl who is in need of your prayers.  She has been sick for a while and would love to get a card from you to help her feel better.  You can read about this beautiful girl here.

Isn't she just gorgeous!  Her mom is also offering some candy for you.

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Welcome to our fortnightly challenge at

 CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

Our challenge is to use this amazing sketch by our very own Ang

Our sponsor is The Stamping Chef

Last week my sister had to have surgery and I got to babysit her.  While I was there we colored images.  When it was time to make my card I went to get my image and could not find it anywhere.  I was so distraught.  I had to start all over (although Becky and I both agree we like this one better).  So I guess it all worked out for the best.

As I said in a previous post, I am trying to build up my supply of cards that are needed on a regular basis so here is another birthday card.  I chose "Betty Butterfinger" for my image.  She's just perfect for a birthday card.  The splotches on her apron are not in the image.  I put them there.

These are the items I used for my card:

Image done with Copic Markers, Wink of Stella pen & Glossy Accents then popped up on 3D dimensionals
Papers by Bazzill, Papercraft Inspirations & generic
Embossing folder from Darice
Die cut is Spellbinders
Ribbon was one I had in my stash loose
Corner metal piece by Momenta (last one so I guess it's a trip to the store YEA!)
Sentiment from Create with TLC
The star was created on Word

I hope you will check out all the beautiful creations done by my DT buddies over at Crafting When We Can.  Please leave them comments too as everyone likes to get some love.

HAPPY EASTER

Hello all!  I have been doing a sibling challenge as of late.  My sisters and I have been challenging each other to do certain kinds of cards.  This is the first one I am posting though it is the second of the challenges.  This challenge comes from my youngest sister Rhonda.  She asked us to make a card focusing on the sentiment alone.

I decided to make an Easter card for the ladies I visit at my church.  We have a program where we go out each month and visit the ladies we are assigned to bring them a lesson and also get to know them better.  Hopefully, you spring up wonderful friendships along the way.  I do love the women I have visited over the years and some have become my dearest friends.  If you would like to know more about it you can go here for information.  There are some beautiful Easter messages there also.

At Easter time we remember the sacrifice that Christ has made for us.  We remember that he rose from the dead and made it possible for us to return to Heaven to be with Him and our Heavenly Father.  I do hope that you will take the time to welcome Him into your life and accept the gift He so freely offered to each of us.

These are the items used to make the card.  Fortunately I was able to use everything I already had.  Other than the embossing folder, I have had all of these items for a long time:

 Sentiment - Digi Doodle Shop
Papers - Core' dinations
Ribbon - Trim Line
Pearls - Want 2 Scrap
Charm - Stash
 Punch - Martha Stewart
Die cut - Spellbinders
Embossing folder - Darice

HAPPY BIRTHDAY W/ELEANOR AND PICKLES

Welcome to another fabulous challenge at

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

The challenge this fortnight is "Ribbon/Twine/Washi" and sponsored by

Lacy Sunshine

Don't you just love these images at Lacy Sunshine.  So many cute images (and I am all about the cute).  I am trying to build up my supply of cards for occasions that pop up on you....like birthdays.  I am blessed to live with my extended family and have three nieces that you have heard me blog about on occasion.  The young ones keep getting invited to birthday parties so I decided to have some cards on hand for them to use.  I think Eleanor makes a great birthday card.....and don't you just love that adorable Pickles.

I hope you have had a chance to see all the beautiful cards my fellow DT have made over at CWWC.  So many talented ladies I am fortunate to work with.   Please stop by and visit them as well.
