  Well I hope someone tells the weather that Spring started on March 20.  It has been snowing all day here and I am so sick of it.  This was Spring Break for the kids and they have been cooped up for most of it because it is so cold outside.  Please someone send some warm weather up to Ohio.  I can't take anymore.    Now down to business

A RANDOM FAN

    So many adorable images!  The one I am using is called Doctor Autry.  Isn't she so sweet!  I've colored her with my Copic markers and added some Glossy Accents and my new Wink of Stella Brush.   The sketch I chose comes from Papertake Weekly.

HEARTS & FLOWERS

Has it been two weeks already?  Here we go with another fabulous challenge at 

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN

Our challenge this fortnight is "Hearts & Flowers".  This has been a tough one for me.  I procrastinate too much and usually don't do my card until the Thursday or Friday before it's due.  This time waiting was not a good idea.  I have been so sick all week and when it came to doing my card for you, I was not up to par.  I'm not real happy about the way this turned out.  Please excuse the mistakes in the coloring.  I'm feeling a bit better today but still not up to myself yet.  I did not use a sentiment because I'm not sure what I will use the card for.  I'm thinking a child's birthday card but I might let my nieces use it for their mom.

My lovely sister, Rebecca, got to go to see our newest family addition this weekend and I was wishing I could go to.  It's no good taking a sick person to see a baby though.  Her name is Layla Faye.  She was named after my mom.  Isn't she just so adorable!

She spent her first month in the hospital but now she is thriving!!  I wish I could be there to hold her.  I'm so jealous that Rebecca got to go.

My sisters and I have decided to challenge each other once a month to build up our supply of cards needed on hand.  We have just started and will have it up for you soon.  Keep an eye out for it.  We are having trouble with a name for the blog segment though.  Any ideas?
