FATHER'S DAY PART 2

This is my second post for today.  That's never happened before.  My sister not only was too busy to make a card for her husband (which was my first post), she was also unable to make a card for her father-in-law.  So here is his card.

He enjoys working with his hands and has built several things for my sister.  I thought a tool belt was most appropriate for him.  This image comes from Anji's Antics.  She offers freebies all the time.  I colored entirely with Copics.  My collection of them are finally growing.  The papers are from Core-dinations, Bazzill and some generic, buttons are from my little nieces bag 'o buttons she gave to me and the ribbon comes from a candy I won at Sassy Raggedy.  Sentiment is my own.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

My sister has been slammed with work lately and did not have time to make a card for her husband so she asked me to make it for her.

My sister and her husband are parents to five parrots.  He also has recently put out bird feeders and is enjoying seeing all the wild birds that are feeding outside the window.  I thought he might enjoy this image I found at Doodle Pantry.  It's colored with Copic and Whisper Strokes markers.  I have added some extra birds from Paper House.  This sketch is from

The papers are from Bazzill, Echo Park and some generic.  The baker's twine is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I could not get the bow to stay straight at all.  I made the sentiment.  The button is from a bag of buttons my niece got at school.  She thought I would like them and I do.

Doodle Pantry - Anything goes w/their image

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN #46

Hi everyone and welcome to another fabulous challenge at

CRAFTING WHEN WE CAN!

Today we are pleased to have Lacy Sunshine back as our sponsor.  Love these images!

Our challenge this time around is "Mad About Markers".  Just use your markers to color up an image.  How easy is this one!

As some of you may know, I have a fabulous sister who has the biggest heart.  She has always been there for me and helped more than she will ever know.  She has been having a bit of a hard time lately and I wanted to cheer her up a bit.  If you care to leave her some love her blog is here.  She is also a wonderful artist.  Ever since I can remember she has been drawing or painting or creating is some way.  I chose this image specifically for her.  It reminded me so much of her.  It is Eleanor painting ladybugs.  Isn't she just adorable!

Eleanor has been colored with Copic and Whisper Strokes markers.  Her glasses have Glossy Accents and I've added some Stickles to sparkle her up.  The sketch comes from
Little Miss Muffet.

I've used papers from Graphic 45, Bazzill, Steady On and some generic all of which came from my scraps.  The embossing folder, ribbon and pearls are Darice.  The charm came from a candy win~thank you Sassy Raggedy.

Please check out all the amazing creations at Crafting When We Can and I hope to see you in this challenge.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY

Last week my sister had a birthday and I am a bit late getting a card to her.  She said it's OK because she still hasn't given me my birthday card (from September).  I saw it on line though.  It was just gorgeous.  I hope she likes this one.

Her favorite color is green and she loves unicorns.  I couldn't find a unicorn in my stash of digis and stamps so I opted to use this image of a girl with a unicorn horn.  When I was trying to color her I couldn't get the feeling out of my head that she had to be pink (hair and all).  So Beck sorry she isn't green.

I didn't take a picture of the inside but I found a funny from Create With TLC that says

May you
live to be
OLD
and
TOOTHLESS

I loved it so had to use it for her.  I think she will find it funny too.  The sketch I used comes from Papertake Weekly

For her birthday she got to go to Amish country.  I'm kinda jealous because I want to go.  Since I have been up here in Ohio I haven't been able to get there.  She also got some FAB gifts from her hubby and in-laws too.  Glad you had such a great time.  If I don't say it enough I am so blessed for you to be my sister.

I love you!
