Each month I get a newsletter from my church that includes the birthdays of the women in our ward. When I left Georgia, I asked to continue to get their newsletter to keep in touch with my friends there. So each month I get two newsletters. As I was reading this months newsletter from Georgia I saw that one of my dear friends is having a birthday. Since I am now a card making crafter, I just had to make her a card this year.
Jessica has been a very big part of my life for a very long time. I love her dearly and still talk to her. Our families will forever be connected. I miss all my friends and hope to get to see them again soon. So Jess if your reading this know that I love you and miss you very much.
This lovely image and sentiment come from Doodle Pantry. I colored my little birdie with Whisper Strokes and my very first Copic marker to resemble my sister's bird Sydney. The sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. The papers come from Bazzill, The Paper Co., DCWV and my stash-o-scraps. The ribbon is from Darice and the flowers are from Pressed Flowers. I used some Stickles from Ranger to sparkle it up.
I have entered into the following challenges:
Hope you have enjoyed your visit. Thanks for stopping by!
